This may not be feasible for all establishments considering the budget, availability of space in the bathroom and also sometimes the hotel standards. Many hotels collect the empty bottles and place them in the back area after refilling them. Hotels can also opt for small ceramic containers or ceramic dispensers for the higher category rooms and those can be refilled whenever required. The outer carton of all the bathroom amenities should be recycled if in a good condition. Hotels can also invest in the good quality plastic lined cartons so it can be reused for maximum time.

The toilet rolls or the face tissues should not be replaced till it gets over, along with a packed extra toilet roll or face tissue packet to comply with the respective hotel standards. The soap should not be replaced until it is fully over in the occupied rooms provided the guest agrees on the same. Linen wastage Many of the hotels actively recycle discarded linen.
