Which is a stamp of our India because of large traffic of child labours, children’s are said to be the future of the country and they should be challenging for all problems so that, the country can develop but now-a-days, for this curse they hate the rules of the country & the love and affection for their country is gradually decreasing. And it has been increasing, its area by day to day and it becomes has reached to 14% to 16% in 2007. STUDY OF SOCIO ECONOMIC CHILD LABOUR IN AROUND THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAMBALPUR

OBJECTIVE ? Prevalence of child labour into given area through a simple survey on domestic children. ? Study about the socio-economic reasons and effects to made them labourer. MATERIALS REQUIRED : This study should be completed by surveying a famous and particulars area for collecting a complete data. I surveyed a selecting area of Bhatara near Rice Mill and bus stand of Sambalpur. As it is vast populated area so it is easy to interview the labourers and predict the data for a clear information.

So after selecting the area or ward most essential, paper, pen, notebook, pencil is required. METHODS : This study was conducted in a randomly selected ward i. e. ward No. 1 of Sambalpur Municipality. Exhaustive study taking adequate required simple can’t be conducted because of limitation of time. So it is restricted tone to two award with 150 nos. households. I started my survey from 21. 10. 07 to 26. 10. 07 to collect a clear data about the prevalence.

In this survey I interviewed some children (about 10) within the age of 14 years at different commercial working places and point out the cause, essentiality and needs to join in that devil work and I also collected data about their family conditions, family members, father’s occupation, daily income, physical, economical and educational condition, and also interviewed that if they want to continue this work or want to go to school. The behavior of the owner on his/her parents and also about the earning member of their house and most fact point that if their parents are the person to join them in that job.

DESCRIPTION Child is an asset to the society who wants some love, affection, kindness, support of their elders and guidance to grownup. They are the later future of the India. The welfare of society or country is closely related to the welfare of child. Before discussing about other country, we should take accounts into the condition of our India. After predicting of judgment of Supreme Court on 10th December, 1986 to prevent this devil work, our India is famous as the largest work force country in al over the world.

According to the population exploration, this devil work has rooted deep in our India. It is coming on a view of reporter that children are involving in many commercial work like industrial factory, at house, garage, dhaba, hotels and so on. And it has been reported that they want to be self-employed as Beedi makers, polishing vessels, crackers, rugs and mostly as domestic workers for their own survival and some where for their family. After predicting of law now also 50 million children are treated as labour. This has already spreaded at every nook and corner of India.

Now the Indian condition is very pathetic. So recently Indian Government has recommended some rules but after in my survey I have pointed out a lot of child labour but one of interview is presenting here. A child of 13 years old has viewed that he has been working in hotel of bus stand area for 3 years without any huge wage. And from the interview I conducted that he is illiterate, and having some wealth problem and also he view about his poor economic condition and also told that after his hard working his salary is not sufficient for the survival office families.

As government has checked this but having most child labour area or the populated and commercial area have not been covered by the rules. For this, a millions of children are deprived to health care, education, recreation, paternal love and most beautiful childhood. They have been channalized to work as adults, with child wages, their tender mind and tiny limbs are hard busy to, withstand the strainers work so that they fall easy pray to fatal diseases like T. B. ear Damages etc. Many child labour resort to drink and drugs addiction in order to mitigate the pong of their hard labour and exhaustion.

In course of time, these children become notorious, crime, mongers, juvenile. Crime rate in India is 3. 1 per thousand. Trafficking in hazardous jobs presents a sorrowful picture of child labour in Indian condition after applying as such rules and regulations. RESULTS : This tabulation gives a clear cut data or information about the Indian Child’s condition for this growing percentage of this child labour the democratic India is going to be a hazardous economic country. It’s pathetic data give the report of paralyzed condition of India. DISCUSSION : By survey the areas of Sambalpur I have collected a vast data or topic by interviewing the no. f child labour working in different commercial places and found out the following causes of the child labour which has bounded them to do this work for their survival. POPULATION EXPLORE Population explore in India from 1952 towards 2007 has spreaded. So wants of the people has also increased and for the people it is very difficult to survive. So they are found to force the teenagers child to work. CARELESS RULES OF GOVERNMENT As Government has predict the law to prevent the child labour from 1986. It has been rapidly running up to 2007. as laws are allowed but no rules predicts it or the citizen never obey it.

It has because of selection of careless leaders. We are called as the Government. So if we can’t select a proper one than it is nothing but our fault and selfishness for our own establishment. Curse. POVERTY AS CURE Due to heavy population, obviously there is a big overcome to fulfill all the demands of people and due to this cause only tiny tots are the suffer. It means that in a poor family burning of child is a curse or burden for them. CHILDRENS ARE NOT POLITICIANS As the Childs are tiny they no any unity power or economical or political power because of they are treated under cure of parents and rude society.

They have no representative in the parliament or state assemblies. They are not in a position to go on a strike for huge hike. Hence child labourer is low paid and the children suffer a lot. From this survey we are concluded about the above data, the most important causes of child labour is now a matter of discussion but this discussion and the careless steps will be continue even if no stamp out action will be taken by the Indian Government. Then what will be the condition of India up to 2020, it is undesirable. SUMMARY AND SUGGESTION : i) The analysis is above leads to certain implications of the international community. Collect/ Study child labour data and devise interventions that allow for the possibility of children being in school and working. • Improve the quality of schooling by investing in education so as to increase its value to the children and parents. • Provide subsidies to poor families prone to having working children so they can afford their children’s schooling (incomes subsidies, nutritional supplements); and • Establish partnership of international organizations dedicated to improving children’s lives. Some partnerships of international organizations are misguided.

Competition from developing countries is probably not the cause of unemployment in developed countries. Under the guise of protecting worker’s rights, some developed countries propose that minimum global labour standard be adopted by GATT successor, the World Trade Organization. Among the issues proposed is the prohibition of child labour. Developing countries argue that such measures world measure would rob them of their comparative advantages; lower labour costs. Many see issue as just that : rich nations attempting to wipe away developing countries’ comparative advantage by arguing for human rights.

Genuine human rights concerns are important, but protectionism is not the answer. High levels of unemployment have many causes other than trade, so labour standards is one country may not affect levels of employment in another. Threatening trade restrictions based on labour standards is not justified. The problem with such stance is that (i) not all forms of child labour are exploitive or cruel; (ii) the age deemed “child” labour is not clear; (iii) Poor countries cannot necessarily afford such measures; (iv) levels poverty would increase; and (v) school attendance would decline.

Furthermore, free trade is probably part of the solution to eradicating child labour. This is because a free trade regime promotes development worldwide. And as countries develop, the incidence of child labour decreases substantially. In my opinion on he issued of he child labour is it destroys the future of the child. Child labour causes a nation backward. So it should be abolished in our country. A developed country needs brilliant and educated children. CONCLUSION :

In this conclusion point there is nothing to concludes because of these vast problem no certain decision can be taken. Government has predicted the rule to prevent child labour for this recently in Rourkela 27 hotels has point out where 33 child are found to be worked and so they will be punished by the Government but after prevent it, how they will survive, that is the fact so in my view child labour can’t be prevented by he rules because of after closing a case it does not reopen through out the life in Indian courts.

So recently the Union Minister of States for Women and Child Development, Renuka Choudhry wants there ban on child labour eased to allow them to pickup traditional crafts and skills and also she will soon be forwarding a proposal on this to Union Labour Minister Oscar Fernandez.

The proposal will suggest a “Learning while Earning” policy thorugh which she hopes the labour ministry will be able to make a case for India’s unique situation and highlight our policy in international forum without being afraid of saying (what is right forces). In my view child labour holistically without having accusatory glances thrown at us. And at international case, the international laws against child labour, child labour is that child labour have been highly insensitive to local and regional issues.

So from the above detail and survey I represent that child labour is a disease which cause is poverty by virtue of which it can’s be removed from India, as it is a democratic, socioeconomic country if the social people are not responsible for their work and duty then it will be remain in it or will be increase in number after some years. Which will be caused “Child Labour Explore”. “SANATAN BAG” “Working at Stone Crusher in a remote village of Sambalpur” “MALATI AT WORK” A dhaba dish washer at sambalpur
